Year Thirteen - XIII

This year is an important stepping stone towards the career and the life you want to lead. Achieving the grades you need will be the key that unlocks the future you have planned for yourself and if there was ever a time to pull out all the stops then now is the time to do it.

If you are planning to head off to university, the staff at The Lakes School will help you with your course search and with your UCAS application. Your teachers will also help you manage the demands of Year 13 and mentor you through completing your coursework and preparing for your exams in the summer.

Our Sixth Form is set up well to support your studies with quiet areas, computer access and a dining area where you can sit and relax, recharge with some refreshments and catch up on the day’s news. Your year will end with the Year 13 prom before you eagerly await results day in August and a set of great results that we are sure will be well deserved.
